Asbestos Awareness Training

Under the Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016, it is mandatory to have a minimum level of Asbestos awareness training to all staff who may come in to contact with or be exposed to asbestos contaminated material (ACM). This training will not cover removal or knowingly disturb ACM, staff need to go through different levels of the training such as Asbestos removal Class A, B etc.

Asbestos Awareness training will provide:

Understanding Asbestos regulation 2016.
Understanding where we can find asbestos in building, what it’s look like.
Understanding of their effects on public health and protection measurements
Understanding to PCBU’s role to minimise risk and worker health
Understanding how to control and emergency response and minimum PPE requirements.
