Course Information

People credited with this unit standard are able to plan for and lift, move, and place loads using mobile plant in an infrastructure works environment.

 

In this BeSafe course learn the principles for using mobile plant for lifting and moving loads; hazard management associated with slinging, lifting, moving, and placing loads; types and inspection of lifting attachments on mobile plant; lifting and slinging gear used with mobile plant; and communication for slinging, lifting, moving, and placing operations.

Recommended for workers who use mobile plant to lift loads.

Pre-requisites – Class of driver licence and endorsements required for the vehicle being driven

 

Upon completion, you will have gained your SLMP endorsement and be issued with a certificate of competency.less
